Pet gift guide: Locally made gifts your pet will love |

Don?t forget your furry family members this holiday season. After all, they deserve to receive something back for all that free unconditional love they give you throughout the year.

Here are some suggestions featuring items made in Oregon or Southwest Washington:

Antlers are chemical-free, work well for dogs with allergy issues and promote good dental health. Cost: $6.75-$26.50 at Pets on Broadway; also available at or pet stores throughout Oregon.

Digs brand dog beds: After trying unsuccessfully to find edgy, colorful beds for her pet dogs, designer JJ De Sousa decide to make her own. She found a line of U.S.-made, durable outdoor fabric, hired a local seamstress and began selling them just last month. Cost: $95 for an 18-by-24 inch version; $125 for a 24-by-36 inch version. The machine-washable beds are available at Digs Inside & Out, 1829 N.E. Alberta St. in Portland;

Prices range from $25 to $200. Products are available at?,?Green Dog Pet Supply?and other local pet stores.
